The La Grande Country Club Christmas Party was again a great time and a success. Special thanks again to Tony Peterson for the beautiful tree in the upper clubhouse. Thank you to the Ladies Association for all of the beautiful decorations in the upper and lower clubhouses. Also, thank you to Brian Bell and Russ Scott for harvesting the tree from Tony Peterson and installing it in the upper clubhouse.
Santa Claus will be at La Grande Country Club Saturday, December 11th in the Lower Clubhouse from 1 - 3 pm.
House/Membership/Social Committee:
The Lower Clubhouse is going to be very busy this Holiday Season. We have parties booked almost every day of the week through the month.
Texas Hold Em' and Cribbage League are up and running smoothly. Texas Hold Em' is every Tuesday night with registration beginning at 6:00 pm and cards flying at 6:30. Cribbage League is every Thursday beginning at 6:30. If you are interested in playing in the league as a sub please contact Betty Bowen.

Greens Committee:
The golf course is CLOSED. Please make sure that you touch base with the Golf Shop Staff before playing this winter. Once the snow is gone and the ground is dry enough we will allow carts, but until then, please use common sense. We will stay on the temporary greens until we feel they are ready to handle play. We currently do not have any winter projects planned, but that may change.
BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP POTLUCK PARTY!! Oregon Ducks vs Auburn Tigers. Doors open at 4:00 pm, kickoff is at 5:30 pm and the doors will close 1/2 hour after the game. Monday, January 10th. Please RSVP if you are planning on attending.
